We choose open-ended materials because we believe creativity flourishes when children are free to explore without limits. you will find recycled materials, clay, fabrics, string, crystals and a range of paint mediums in our studio. Providing materials over objects, process over product because that is what allows space for oringinal thinking – to not just make but experience

Natural materials not only align with our open ended approach but our overall vision to slow down and appreciate the art in the world around us. the unique shape of a leaf, the contrasting colours on a flower petal, the line detail on a piece of wood – all amazing fuel sources for inspiration. Natural elements—like wood, stones, shells, leaves, sand and water—offer rich sensory experiences that plastic or pre-made toys simply can’t replicate. Their varied textures and imperfections stimulate curiosity and awaken the senses to explore.
